The future looks wild

For those fashionistas who are never afraid to mix and match, this 2012, remember an adventurous and WILD spirit will never go out of style. Here are some of the fashion ideas to look forward to...

1. Prints and prints and mooore prints

Prints will be at its best this year from zebra to leopard to futuristic prints --
lady gaga will not be so worn out. For a more conservative fashionista you could wear a bootleg animal print trousers with tank top and a good pair of pumps. Also, wide belts can add height and edge to your look.

2. Tangerines and Sweet pinks

These pretty pinks and tangerines never go out of style so much so that they are one of those fashion ideas to look forward to this. These dresses are good for those who want a sweet yet fabulous and elegant image to make on this year.

3. Color blocking

Color blocking stayed since summer last year, and now it is reappearing this year. But what is the catch? Now, it is not just on acid bright colors but also on pastels like that on the picture above. More Hollywood celebrities are getting to love this trend like this photo of Camilla Belle.

4. Peplum

Just like any other dresses, peplum will jet back this year, from dresses to skirts and a lot more. This style used to be worn by different celebrities especially in Hollywood like Blake Lively - who are best known for their trendy styles.

5. The Mullet

This hybrid of maxi and mini dress gives you the edge among the rest. It's conservative, it's elegant and to top it all off, it's sexy!. Asian style mullet is one of the stars in the Philippine Fashion Week Summer/Spring Collection 2012.

It also heated up some red carpet scenes in Hollywood, like this one worn by Selena Gomez.

This year will teach to not be afraid of colors, blocking and prints as long as it looks good on you and above all is that you are comfortable with it. Remember that The finest clothing made is a person's skin, but, of course, society demands something more than this.  ~Mark Twain

ciao!
